On March 7, 1997, Jhanvi was born. Jaan Kapoor is the daughter of famous film producer Boney Kapoor and mother Sridevi. She attended Dhirubhai Ambani International School in Mumbai. Studied theatre and film at The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in Los Angeles, California.

She is now residing in Andheri, a neighbourhood in Mumbai’s northwestern outskirts. Had millions of followers through her acting skills at the age of 25. She has played lead roles in films such as Dhadak (2018). This was her first debut and a turning point in her career. Other films in which she has appeared include Ghost Stories, Angrezi Medium, and Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl. In 2018, she was nominated for a Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. The film is a remake of the Malyalam film Helen.
