The animated musical Central Park has been renewed for season 3 by Apple TV+. Central Park facilities around the Tillerman-Hunter family trying to save their home in Central Park in NYC from an entrepreneur that wants to grow the park into various buildings. The first season had a total of 46 original songs in its ten-episode run. The cast includes Josh Gad, Tituss Burgess, Daveed Diggs, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., and Stanley Tucci.

The musical comedy has been restored for the third time. The renewal comes months before the second season even airs, a familiar trend for the streaming service. While the next season does not premiere until June 25, fans can have a sneak peek into one of its most featured songs:

Co-creator Loren Bouchard affirmed the renewal on social websites while incorporating data saying that the renewal is likely to make the series have an additional 29 episodes and 115 tunes for both seasons. Bouchard’s full announcement can be read below:

“Seasons 3 and 2 of Central Park mean 29 more episodes and something like 115 brand new songs. 115! The people who make this series dazzle me with their ability and ambition and will. Apple and 20th have shown their will also. I’m honoured to be a part of something with this much chutzpah.”

The analysis acts as a vote of confidence and support that Apple TV+ has for this show. Contrary to other animated comedies with full network seasons such as Bob’s Burgers or The Simpsons, Central Park operates on a more serialized storytelling due to its smaller episode count. But the show also delights viewers with its assortment of musical songs and funny, entertaining characters.
