Cardi B surprised her erstwhile middle school by visiting it to make an unexpected donation announcement of $100,000 (£87,000) for after-school programs.
Cardi B is a hip-hop sensation from the United States who is best known for her “no filter attitude.” unexpectedly paid a visit to the middle school. In a video, Cardi B can be seen recommending that the funds be used on “something fun, like a music program”. The video was posted by NBC New York; in which the 29-year-old Bronx native is seen making her way to I.S. 232 in the Morris Heights neighborhood of New York City.
She stated that “I’ve been to a lot of faculties, and this one means more to me than any other faculty I’ve ever attended. She continued by saying that the choices you make now will have a big impact”.As per the reports, the rapper, who attended I.S. 232 from sixth through eighth grade, gave the school a donation of $100,000 to support the art department. According to a caption that accompanied the video, “Cardi B attempted to” do it last year but couldn’t due to all of the COVID restrictions at the time”.
In the video, she further added, “Many of the same things that many of these kids experienced while attending high school here, I experienced as well. I have high hopes that my contribution will help establish an outstanding after-school program that will not only keep kids off the streets or away from troubled homes but also provides them with the opportunity to learn something that they can carry with them for the rest of their lives.

Additionally, Cardi B referred to another project that she has been “working on for the last two years.” I can’t wait to share it with you soon because it is very important to me. Cardi B stated earlier this year that she and her husband, Offset, are preparing to record a mix tape and that she hopes to collaborate with Lil’ Kim on a future album.
