The Haryana government had notified in a circular that Janmashtami would be observed on August 19 in government offices and educational institutions instead of August 18. Apart from Haryana, banks and offices in other northern states will also remain closed for public on August 19.

Banks in Hyderabad will remain closed tomorrow. On August 20, the festival of Krishna Ashtami will be celebrated there. However, online banking services will continue to operate as normal.
