A new serial named Anupamaa is launched on Star Plus. It premiered on 13th July 2020. The serial in under the banner Director’s Kut Productions. Anupamaa is a story of a Gujrati lady who has dedicated her life to her family. The protagonist “Anupamaa” is a mother, wife, and daughter-in-law. She has sacrificed everything for her family. However, she is not respected by her own family members. They take her for granted and do not value the sacrifices she has made for them.

The lead role of Anupamaa is played by Rupali Ganguly. Rupali was last seen in the sitcom Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai Season 2. Her husband, Vanraj Shah is played by Sudhanshu Pandey. Even though Anupamaa is a family-oriented woman, she isn’t respected by her children also. Only her younger son Samar loves her mother. Paras Kanlawat plays the role of Samar.
However, Vanraj Shah is having an affair with his office colleague Kavya Gandhi.
