Ankita Lokhande vaults a surprise for her fans with her upcoming major release titled, “Swatantrya Veer Savarkar.” The movie stars Ankita Lokhande opposite Randeep Hooda. Randeep Hooda, who also plays the title role, makes his directorial debut with Swatantrya Veer Savarkar. Randeep Hooda has bartered with Mahesh Manjrekar as the director of the project.
Earlier, The film producers announced that the film will be directed by Mahesh Manjrekar. But due to unspecified reasons, Majrekar withdrew himself as a director of the biopic and got replaced by the actor Randeep Hooda. This film is the directional debut of the Sarabjit actor Randeep Hooda.
The film is based on the freedom of a politician, a lawyer, and a writer, Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. who was born on May 28th, 1883 in Nashik, Maharashtra? He is well known for inventing the term “Hindutva”. The film is being penned down by Utkarsha Naithani and Randeep Hooda. The main idea of the biopic is postulated by Sandeep Singh.
The movie is produced by Sam Khan, Anand Pandit, and Sandeep Singh of Anand Pandit Motion Pictures and Legend Studios. The film is scheduled to release on the 26th of May, 2023 to commemorate Veer Savarkar’s 140th birth anniversary.
