Ananya Pandey is few films old in the industry. She debuted in 2019 with Student of the year by Karan Johar. This 22 years old actress is a social media star and has a fan following of 20.1 million on Instagram.
Recently not very long ago Ananya was a part of a round table conference for new comers . Siddhant Chaturvedi Tara Sutaria, Abhimanyu Dassani, Vishal Jethwa, Saloni Batra and Geetika Vidya Ohlyan were also part of this.
In addition she was trolled mercilessly for one of the viral of 2020 where she was seen talking about Nepotism . And Siddhant quirky respond to her made a huge buzz. It became the most popular video which later became a meme . Chaturvedi’s reaction to Nepotism went viral. Round table conference video became a huge reason for Ananya’s trolling and comment on Nepotism. Pandey was trolled for comparing real struggle in the industry with being on Koffee with Karan .
SOTY 2 fame actress said “I have always wanted to be an actor. Just because my dad has been an actor. I will never say no to an opportunity to act. My dad has never been in a Dharma film. He never went on Koffee With Karan. So it’s not as easy as people say. Everyone has their own journey and their own struggle. Mine has been a lot of personal experience I have seen my dad go through so many things that I don’t take anything too seriously. I overcompensate sometimes. I am so scared that people may say that oh you are taking things too lightly’ so I will come extra early to places. I am so happy that I have this chance,” .

After hearing this Siddhant Chaturvedi also responded in a funny and rather in a epic way. He said the difference is “Jahaan humare sapne poore hote hain, wahi inka struggle shuru hota hai”. English translation means their struggle begins where our dreams are fulfilled.
Later after this interview Ananya became a subject of meme and trolling. The video was spreading like wild fire and was all over the social media sites. Very recently Ananya spoke about this trolling in a interview with with Srishti Dixit. She said “Basically, I agree. But also I think that Sid and I were kind of saying the same thing. Sometimes, in interviews, as you can see, I’m very overwhelmed. If I had to go back, I would probably change the way I said something.”
Pandey also said that Siddhant and her are very good friends. And his comment was never meant for hurting or trolling her in any sense. We were laughing about it later. Sid and I are really close. We have no weird thing about this. People made it something bigger and it became meme-worthy. Genuinely my intention wasn’t like what came across,” she said.
