Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar have just unveiled their exciting new collaboration, the film ‘Jigra,’ under the direction of Vasan Bala. A few days after the announcement, Alia Bhatt has also started working on the film. The actress took to her Instagram handle to share this update from the film with her fans and shared some BTS pictures from the sets and her vanity van.
Sharing pictures from the shooting, Alia Bhatt also wrote, “And we are moving forward. The first day of bringing our Jigra to life… Stay tuned as we bring a piece of our heart for you… Fingers ‘crossed’ for the journey ahead… Love Team Jigra.” One of the many pictures shared on her handle also featured her sister Shaheen Bhatt, who accompanied her in her vanity van.

It’s worth noting that this announcement from Alia coincides with her husband Ranbir Kapoor receiving a notice from the ED. The ED has summoned him for questioning on Friday in connection with the money laundering case involving the Mahadev betting application in Chhattisgarh.
