Agatha Raisin buffs have waited nearly a season with this information. Acorn TV has confirmed there will be a Season 4. What do we understand about the Acorn first show?
Acorn TV has announced that they’ve renew Agatha Raisin for Season 4, or as the Brits say Series 4. This funny mystery series follows Agatha, a former high-profile London PR guru. She’s retired into the scenic Cotswolds and has reinvented herself as a “sassy” detective.
Inspired by Ashley Jensen (Ugly Betty, Catastrophe, Extras)this popular puzzle series has turned into a massive hit in the countries.
As stated by the Acorn TV press launch, Ashley Jensen is delighted to reunite as the crafty detective. “I’m overjoyed to be returning as Agatha Raisin. A function I like playing along with a series that is extremely near my own heart. I’m excited to find out what is in store for Agatha and her merry band of misfits in Series 4”
Certainly, Ashley Jensen will reunite as Agatha Raisin. Additionally, fan favorites Mathew Horne (Gavin & Stacey) as Roy Silver, Jamie Glover (Waterloo Road) as James Lacey, Jason Merrells (Safe House) as Sir Charles Fraith, Lucy Liemann (Rev) as Sarah Bloxby, Matt McCooey as Bill Wong (Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends), Jason Barnett (Bridgerton) as Inspector Wilkes, and Marcia Warren as Mrs. Boggle.
At this time, there’s absolutely no information on if Katy Wix (The Windsors), that performs Gemma Simpson or Jodie Tyack (The Window), that performs Toni Gilmour, will reunite. There’ll be a whole lot of familiar faces returning to Causley, as celebrities out of Patsy Kenset to John Hopkins have guest-starred at the Acorn TV series.
Acorn TV intends to release the brand new episodes in overdue 2021/early 2022. At the moment they will need to have to film those four episodes. But, dependent on the very first name, “Kissing Christmas Goodbye,” it’d make sense if Acorn TV dropped this show before Christmas 2021.
