Ingredients for making Raw Tomato Pickle-
Raw Tomato 200 grams
Rai 1 tsp
-mustard oil 2 tbsp
-Curry leaf
-Garlic paste 1 tsp
– salt to taste
– Whole red chili
-Black pepper
Turmeric 1/2 tsp
– Black pepper 1/2 tsp
Chana dal 1 tbsp
-Coconut 1/2 cup
Red chili powder 1 tsp
-some sugar
-Lemon juice (optional)
Raw Tomato Pickle Recipe
To make this, first wash 200 grams of green tomatoes and cut them into small pieces.
Then you put 2 tablespoons of mustard oil in a pan and heat it.
After this, add 1 teaspoon mustard, 1 teaspoon garlic paste, curry leaves and whole red chili and fry it.
Then you add 1 tablespoon gram dal and 1/2 cup coconut and mix it.
Along with this, add 1 teaspoon red chili powder, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper and fry it together.
Then add chopped green tomatoes and salt to taste and cook for a while.
After this, add some sugar and lemon juice (optional) to it and cook till the tomatoes melt.
Now your sour-sweet raw tomato pickle is ready.
Then you serve it hot with roti, paratha or rice.
