Abhishek Bachchan gets nostalgic and so he revisits some of Jaya Bachchan’s old films. He took to Instagram to share a series of movies that featured his mother Jaya Bachchan in it. He did all of this to celebrate a landmark moment in her career, as she completed 50 glorious years in the Indian film Industry.
Abhishek added a total number of six stills memorable films from his mother Jaya Bachchan’s astonishing career and captioned the post with a very heartwarming message, that read, “I’m so grateful to be her son and to see her complete 50 YEARS in the film industry is a moment of pride. Happy 50 years of cinema Ma, I love you.”
All of the Bachchan fans appreciated this Abhishek’s lovely gesture towards his mom. After seeing Abhishek’s post most of the other celebrities of Bollywood also expressed their love and their adulation for the past. It was such a heartwarming moment to see Jaya Bachchan’s life in the industry and all of the other celebrities being a part of the happy moment and taking out their time to acknowledge the gold.
Famous celebrities such as Dia Mirza, Navya Naveli Nanda, Shweta Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Zoya Akhtar, Sonali Bendre, Kunal Kapoor and dozens of other celebrities more commented on the post. Jaya’s daughter Shweta Bachchan commented, “Love you.” Jaya’s granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda wrote, “She is (love).” Anil Kapoor dropped hearts, raising hands and applause emojis. Bobby Deol and Dia Mirza also dropped heart emojis. Surely to is the respect that Jaya Bachchan deserves and inculcated in all those years.

Navya Naveli also took out her time to post, it was originally shared by a Bollywood fan account, on her Instagram Stories and marked Jaya’s milestone. She wrote, “50 years of her (camera emoji).”
In the post that Abhishek Bachchan posted, he shared stills from Jaya Bachchan’s famous movies like ‘Abhimaan’, ‘Chupke Chupke’, ‘Guddi’, ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ and many more.
Jaya Bachchan had made her on-screen debut career in the year 1963 with Satyajit Ray’s ‘Mahanagar’. But her first film which she got the chance to work as the main lead was Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s ‘Guddi’ in the year 1971, a stellar five decades ago.
Jaya has done many Hindi as well as Bengali films. She appeared in many hit movies like Guddi, Zanjeer, Sholay, Mili, Bawarchi, Silsila, and Uphaar. But after her marriage to the Superstar Amitabh Bachchan, she did not do as many movies as she used to do before, she appeared in lesser films.
Her comedy show ‘Dekh Bhai Dekh’ was a total hit. In the later life of her career, Jaya Bachchan appeared in films such as Fiza, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gum, and the most famous Kal Ho Na Ho.
Later, Jaya went on to focus on her political career, however, it has been said that she is bout to make her acting come back with a Karan Johar film, Rocky aur rani ki prem Kahani. The film will star the famous Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt as the main lead while Jaya Bachchan is said that she will reunite with Dharmendra.
