New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday morning raided more than 20 places including the residence of Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia. According to a CBI official, raids have been conducted at 21 places in Delhi-NCR, including the residence of Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia and the premises of the then Excise Commissioner of Delhi, Arva Gopi Krishna, in the Excise Policy case.

After this raid, the Aam Aadmi Party has become the attacker. Reacting to this action, Deputy CM Sisodia said in a series of tweets – These people are upset with the wonderful work of Delhi’s education and health. That is why the Health Minister and Education Minister of Delhi have been arrested so that the good work of education health can be stopped. There are false allegations against both of us. The truth will come out in court.

He further said, “We welcome the CBI. Will give full cooperation in the investigation so that the truth can come out soon. Till now many cases have been filed against me but nothing has come out. Nothing will come out of it either. My work cannot be stopped for good education in the country.”

In another tweet, Sisodia wrote, “CBI has arrived. He is welcome. We are extremely honest. Making the future of millions of children. It is very unfortunate that those who do good work in our country are harassed like this. That is why our country has not yet become number-1.

CM Kejriwal targeted

At the same time, Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal has also tweeted a scathing retort on the action of the CBI that – The day on the front page of America’s largest newspaper NYT, Delhi’s education model was praised and Manish Sisodia’s picture was printed. On the same day, the center sent CBI to Manish’s house. Welcome to CBI. Will cooperate fully. There have been many investigations/raids in the past as well. Nothing came out. Still nothing will come out.

CM Kejriwal further wrote, “The whole world is discussing Delhi’s education and health model. They want to stop this. That’s why the raid and arrest on the Health and Education Ministers of Delhi. Whoever tried to do good work in 75 years was stopped. That’s why India lags behind. Will not let Delhi’s good works stop.”

Raghav Chadha also said

AAP MP Raghav Chadha said on this raid that in the last eight years there have been many such raids which did not yield any result. The AAP leader also lauded Sisodia’s efforts as education minister and said that the Kejriwal-led government is gaining international acclaim.

Chadha tweeted, “Education Revolution of Kejriwal government garnered a lot of applause in today’s New York Times. The same morning the BJP’s CBI raided the house of Manish Sisodia, the hero of that education revolution.” He further said that the party is ready to cooperate during the raids.

Let us inform that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is going to address the press in this regard in a short while.
