Aamir Khan on Boycott Laal Singh Chaddha Trend:

With a bucket full of popcorn, and eyes on the screen, we are all set to watch the big remake
of the Oscar-winning iconic film Forest Gump, Laal Singh Chaddha. But ever since the trailer has released, a certain section of the society has started demanding a boycott of the film for the controversial statements made by Aamir back in 2015, about his increasing intolerance in India.

People were also upset with his performance in PK, which questioned the traditional methods of worshipping Hindu Gods through pouring milk and spending hefty amounts of money on making extravagant temples among other
things. On Koffee with Karan, the leading role, Aamir Khan mentioned how many years they had
spent getting permission to remake this iconic film. Laal Singh Chaddha is an official remake of the 1994 American film, based on Winston Groom’s 1986 novel.

This trend had Aamir all nervous before the release and he couldn’t sleep. He finally spoke about this whole controversy. Back in 2016, Aamir had clarified his statement on ‘unsafe’ India and stated that it was misunderstood and the media is to be blamed for the same. He expressed his heartfelt love towards the nation which is his birthplace and would certainly also be the place where he dies, he added. He further apologized for unintentionally hurting the emotions of those who were hurt.

In his further interaction during the promotion of his events, he also appealed to the nation to forgive him and asked to go watch the movie if they can, for the labor and the effort that the crew and artiste had put in to make the movie. He added that he would really want this movie to reach a wide audience but if some people choose to not go watch it, he’ll be respectful of that too.

Laal Singh Chaddha New Song: The most awaited song ‘Tur Kalleyan’ from the film Laal Singh Chaddha has been released.
