Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao, who have been promoting the latter’s directorial Laapataa Ladies, recently met to discuss their film, the industry, and other topics. Aamir spoke about artificial intelligence and the employment of technology in filmmaking. “We will continue to see new types of technology around us. Artificial intelligence is taking the globe by storm. We’ll know what happens as we move on. I’m always falling behind in terms of technology. “My life revolves around stories,” the 58-year-old explained in an interview.
Amir described his concerns regarding AI and it’s increasing popularity amongst children
“With technology, there is no turning back; whether in a profession or an industry, you cannot stop new technology. There’s no need to stop it either. “You have to learn to evolve with it,” he said. Kiran Rao shared similar thoughts, saying, “I’m not sure what can genuinely happen with AI. ChatGPT can benefit schoolchildren. We understand that it can aid with writing and editing. It depends on how effectively we can use it.”
Laapataa Ladies is directed by Kiran Rao and produced by Jio Studios’ Aamir Khan and Jyoti Deshpande. The film was produced by Aamir Khan Productions and Kindling Productions. And the script was based on Biplab Goswami’s award-winning story. Sneha Desai wrote the screenplay and dialogue, and Divyanidhi Sharma jotted down the additional lines.
The actor also discussed the failure of his last film, “Laal Singh Chaddha” (2022). Advait Chandan directed the official version of Tom Hanks’ 1994 film “Forrest Gump”. Kareena Kapoor Khan portrayed the female lead. Aamir described himself as “emotionally hurt”.

“I gave it a lot of thinking, and it was a valuable lesson for me. I recall saying Kiran, “I made so many mistakes in this film on so many levels.” Thank God I only made these blunders in one film.
