Suriya is one of the most inspiring actors in Kollywood. From Nerukku Ner to Kaapaan, Suriya has come a long way. Today, he is known as one of the most hard-working actors in the film industry with a golden heart. He is now awaiting the release of his upcoming film, Soorarai Pottru. Suriya, in a recent media interaction, admitted that he worked in a garment company. He spoke about his first salary of Rs 786 and how it felt. “It was a memorable experience now. After eighteen, we all would begin to think about our future and how society would accept us. I still remember the weight of my salary cover.”
Suriya also spoke about his memorable flight he had with his father Sivakumar. Speaking to media, he said, “We were on a flight to Malaysia and that was the time we spoke to each other. The flight attendant asked what we want to have and I said wine. Appa was like you’re drinking in front of me, so it’s fine and ordered one for him. That was the first time I told him I wanted to act. He suggested I learn all skills to be ready. It was a memorable flight journey in my life.”
