In the picture, the couple can be seen holding each other tightly. They looked at each other lovingly. Earlier, Alia also shared her solo pictures. She captioned the post “Some light … Happy Diwali”. Alia is giving poses with a votive candle and string lights donned in a Prussian blue lehenga designed by Sabyasachi Mukherjee. Alia and Ranbir also attended a Diwali puja with their friend and Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji. Alia and Ranbir have been dating since 2018. Although, they were reported to announce their wedding date a while ago. Also, there was speculation that they will get married in November or December this year.
In a media interaction, Alia’s mother Soni Razdan seemed to have no knowledge of her daughter’s marriage plans. She said that even she is ‘waiting for some information’ about the wedding. Soni told Bollywood Life that “Well, there’s a lot of time left. It’ll happen sometime in the future, and that’s a long way off. Now, when it’ll happen, I don’t know. Maybe, you’ll have to call Alia’s agent for that. But even her agent might not know.”

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have several films in the making. The couple is starring in Brahmastra, Ayan Mukerji’s superhero film. Brahmastra also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, Nagarjuna Akkineni, and Dimple Kapadia in significant roles. Moreover, Ranbir will be seen in Shamshera, Sandeep Vanga Reddy’s Animal, and an untitled romantic film with Shraddha Kapoor.
In 2022, Alia Bhatt will be seen in more than 3 movies- Gangubai Kathiawadi, RRR, and Rocky Aur Rani ki Prem Kahani. RRR is Alia’s Telugu debut with SS Rajamouli’s. The film also features NT Rama Rao Jr, Ram Charan, and Ajay Devgn.
