Vivek Anand Oberoi assumed to be back onto the OTT platform seems excited about the upcoming projects. Vivek counts as the first Bollywood actor to have stepped into the digital bandwagon. He made his appearance in the OTT being a part of the Inside Edge web series. It is an Indian drama series that covers the stories of T20 cricket league st in a conflicting landscape. And now the actor doesn’t leave a chance to brag about his new upcoming web show projects.
He took the media hinting about the new projects. He opens up by saying -“I am super excited about both these projects as my roles are poles apart. They are so different from what I have done until now. The setting of the show itself is very different. So, when you are a part of a project like this your creativity gets a new high. For me, what’s exciting is that I get to paint this whole new canvas. I can wait to add my creative thought process and go on panting this blank canvas.”
Vivek feels excited about his new projects. He is the actor who turned into a producer, and the new face on digital platforms. He expresses his entire experience quoting “When it comes to the web, people are getting better at writing this form of content. Earlier on, they didn’t know how to write a web series in India. How many people knew how to write a cold open or how to write a cliffhanger at the end of every episode? They are getting so much better at it over the period of time. I have been reading scripts of so many web shows from 2016 to 2021 and I must say the evolution has been amazing. After hearing multiple scripts I chose these two projects and I am super excited about it.”
Vivek Oberoi Inside Edge
His project Inside Edge is based on sports drama streamed on Amazon Prime. It was telecasted on 10 July 2017. The series is known to be the first Amazon original series in the HINDI language. Karan Anshuman is the maker of the series. The storyline of the series encloses a fictional cricket team playing T20 named Mumbai Mavericks. The authority discovers a wide spot-fixing syndicate. The cast for the famous series includes artists such as Vivek Oberoi, Richa Chada, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Sayani Gupta, Angad Bedi, Aamir Bashir, Tanuj Virwani, and Sapna Pabbi, as well as Manu Rishi, Amit Sial, Karan Oberoi, and Asha Saini.

This series received positive critics. It was also nominated at 46th International Emmy Awards for the Best Drama Series. It has already covered its second season premiered on December 6. 2019. It holds 20 episodes viz 10 in each.

India today reviewed the series as technically first-rate and perfectly telecasted. Further, the editor of the newspaper The Indian Express appraised the performance of the series saying- series packs interesting punch shouldered by some honest performances elaborating the quality and essence of the web series can be categories under smaller mediums than films.
