Krushna Abhishek was born and raised in Mumbai. He began his acting career with the famous series Just Mohabbat in 1996. Six years later, he made his silver screen debut with the Hindi film Ye Kaisi Mohabbat Hain in 2002. After that, he appeared in a string of Bhojpuri-language films. Failing to establish himself, he took a long break before returning back as a contestant on Nach Baliye 2.
He participated with his wife Kashmeera Shah in the show and was eliminated after having an extended run in the show. He gained his big break in 2008 when he began participating in the popular standup comedy-based reality show franchise Comedy Circus. Since then, he has participated in and hosted several comedy reality shows winning several accolades for his stellar work. Since, 2018, he has been a part of The Kapil Sharma Show. He also appears on the show Funhit Me Jaari since 2020.
Along with television, he has also a regular feature in films. He was highly praised for his performance in Bol Bachchan. He has played pivotal roles in Bollywood films like Entertainment, Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3, Teri Bhabhi Hain Pagle, and Marne Bhi Do Yaaron. He is mostly offered comic roles and is looked upon as a sought-after comedian by filmmakers and television producers. For his performances in television shows, Krushna Abhishek has also won various ITA awards. His Jodi with Sudesh Lehri was highly popular in Comedy Circus. The duo has also performed at various award shows.
