Shirley Setia was born on 2 July 1995 in Daman, India so she is 26 years old as of 2021. Her favs called her Shiri or just Shirley. Raj Setia and his family shifted to New Zealand where Setia was raised until later became an internet sensation here in India. Shirley belongs to a Hindu, Khatri family. Setia used to take vocal training since childhood at a very young age. She considers Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle as her favorite singing idols.

Shirley Setia started her career as a Radio Jockey on a Hindu Radio Station, where she played Hindi content in Radio Taran. She got the opportunity to meet many Bollywood celebrities after she started working there. Setia takes her inspiration to become a singer from our much-loved singer Shreya Ghoshal.  Soon T-series in the year 2013 organized a singing competition on youtube. Shirley joined that competition and sang the song ‘Tum Hi Ho ‘, She not only won the competition but later became an internet sensation and a youtube celebrity. Setia is an Indo-Wiki singer and has a huge fan following on her social media. Miss internet sensation has more than 6.5 million subscribers on her youtube channel, 6.9 million on Instagram, and 22 million on her Facebook. She is referred to as “Bollywood Next Big Singing Sensation” by Forbes Magazine. Shirley also got the nickname “Pyjama Popstar”.  For the music video, she was shot in pajamas by the daily newspaper “New Zealand Heral”. She recorded many covers of popular Bollywood songs.
