18 again (2020) is a South Korean play that has 16 episodes in total. The play aired from 21st September 2020 to 10th November 2020 on Monday and Tuesday weekly. It streamed on the initial system JTBC every week with a duration of each episode to be approximately 1hr10min. The show had enormous popularity because of its star cast and superb projection and representation. The genres of this series include Comedy, love, life, childhood, play, and dream. With the management under Ha Byung Hoon and screenwriting under Kim Do Yeon, Ahn Eun Bin, Choi Yi Ryoon.
18 again is also popularly called Eitin Eogein. The drama is based on the 2009 film 17 again by Jason Filardi and it starred Kim Na Neul, Yoon Sang Hyun, and Lee Do Hyun in lead roles. The play 18 again was a much-awaited drama because its release was scheduled for a little earlier than the initial launch date but it got delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The plot overview of the drama revolves around three main characters named Jung Da Jung, Hong Dae Young, and Hong Dae Young( 18year old also termed Ko Woo Young). Hong Dae Young and Jung Da Jung are both married and have spent nearly twenty decades together in their married life. They appear to be happy with the parents of 2 twin kids. Their kids will also be eighteen years and seem they appear to be perfect from the exterior. But what may appear perfect on the outside may not be so perfect from the interior. Jung Da Jung is fed up with her husband and his consistent crap and could not take it one day when she noticed he abandoned his job. Jung Da Jung feels like she can be happy without him being alone as well and does not need to experience all of the everyday sufferings and immediately files for divorce from Hong Dae Young.

Shattered by his wife’s decision he takes some time to think if he’s done anything right or not. His deep regrets and thoughts make him understand his error of what he might have done better. Regrets filled his head and his body transformed to an eighteen-year-old boy. He took it as a brand new opportunity to mend his existing life and its mistakes and requires admission in his son’s school with the mind of a thirty-seven-year-old. He re-lives his life as an eighteen-year-old and titles himself Ko Woo Young. He is a sense gets to understand himself better and attempts to rectify his silly mistakes with the mind still of a thirty-seven-year-old. In eighteen-year-old human anatomy, Ko Woo Young understands his mistakes which he has a lot to understand and attempts to view life from a different perspective overall.

Will There Be 18 Again Season 2?
So far no confirmed news has been released from the production group, the drama also featured on the worldwide platform Netflix and was rather profitable. Keeping into consideration the fans’ demand they might even have a season 2.
