Tom Holland describes ‘Spider-Man 3’ as the “most ambitious” superhero movie ever made

Spider-Man 3, the third installment about Spider-Man played by Tom Holland, plans to hit theaters on December 17. The film, directed by Jon Watts and with Zendaya again in its ranks, is one of the most anticipated of Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And, if you already want to see what new adventure Peter Parker lives on the big screen, Holland has raised expectations even more with his latest statements about the film.

“I can say that it is the most ambitious independent superhero movie ever made,” begins the actor in Variety. “You sit down and read the script and see what they are trying to do and they are achieving it. It is very impressive. I’ve never seen an independent superhero movie like this. And I, you know, again, that lucky little guy who happens to be Spider-Man… I’m as excited as everyone else to see it and, above all, to be a part of it, “he concludes.

The aforementioned medium has also asked Holland about the rumors of the appearance of Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire in Spider-Man 3. “I do not know. If they are, they never told me. ” After this response, Variety has joked with the interpreter about how they could appear in the film. “That would be something Marvel would do. I would see that movie. ” As you can see, the actor has been very cautious and has not confirmed or denied whether his Peter Parker will cross the Wall-crawlers of his predecessors.

Rumors of the appearance of Maguire and Garfield go back to the announcement of two signings. On the one hand, that of Jamie Foxx as Electro. The actor already gave life to the villain in The Amazing Spider-Man 2: The Power of Electro, the sequel to the saga of the superhero played by Garfield. Later, it was announced that Alfred Molina would revert to the role of Otto Octavius / Doctor Octopus, a role he had in Spider-Man 2, the sequel to Maguire’s Spider-Man trilogy. That, coupled with the movie’s connection to the Disney + Scarlet Witch and Vision series and the sequel. Doctor Strange in The Multiverse Of Madness, made fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe speculate about the possibility that the multiverse will be key in Phase 4 of the franchise and that opening the door to other realities would explain the appearance of Molina and Foxx.

Furthermore, this rumor has also drawn attention to Kirsten Dunst and Emma Stone. The first was Mary Jane in the saga directed by Sam Raimi. The second stepped into the shoes of Gwen Stacy in Garfield’s Peter Parker movies. Will they appear in Spider-Man 3?

While you wait for news, take a look at the trailer for Scarlet Witch and Vision that you will find on these lines. The fiction, starring Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany, premieres a new episode on Disney + every Friday.
