About the Film: Prithviraj
Prithviraj is an upcoming Indian periodic historical tale action drama film. Directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi, the film is based on the life of Prithviraj Chauhan. Yash Raj Films is producing this film.
Akshay Kumar is in the lead. He plays the role of Prithviraj Chauhan. However, in Miss World 2017, Manushi Chhillar is making her Hindi film debut. She is playing the role of Prithviraj’s beloved wife Sanyogita. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood, Ashutosh Rana, Sakshi Tanwar, Manav Vij, and Lalit Tiwari as prominent characters.
On 9 September 2020, the makers of the film did an official declaration. It also revealed that the film will release in cinemas on Diwali 2020. However, due to the pandemic situation, the release got postponed indefinitely.
When will Prithviraj released?

Prithviraj will be released in IMAX. This film marks the third Akshay Kumar film that will be released in this prestigious format. Previously, his period sports drama, Gold (2018), had been released in IMAX. In the same year, his sci-fi film, 2.0 (2018), was released in IMAX. For those who are unversed, IMAX is known for its high quality cinematic experience. It is also termed as the most immersive entertainment experience.
